Get started with an original mosaic kit or follow your own creativity
All DIY mosaic kits are our own unique designs and are exclusively available at Mosamia. They are put together with care and love and vary in difficulty, so there are choices for the beginner as well as the advanced mosaicist.
Do you prefer to work freely on your own project? Of course you can. Choose a base or use your own and combine it with a nice selection of mosaic tiles. The glass mosaic colorpacks are useful if you want to work with a specific color theme. They contain a pretty mix of different materials.

How to make

How to use the wheeled nipper
The wheeled nipper is an indispensable tool when working with glass mosaics. But how exactly do you use them? Two wheels are mounted on the head of these special cutters. The wheels cannot be turned. Nor are they supposed to. However, with a tool, they can be adjusted to ensure a new sharp cutting edge. When you squeeze with the pliers, the wheels barely touch each other.
How to grout a mosaic object
Mix the grout with a little water to make a lumpy mass. Spread it over the object so that it gets into the joints. Leave it to rest for a while and then remove the excess grout in stages. Then let dry and harden. Brush off any dull haze with a soft cloth.

Hi, we are Hanneke and Stefan. We emigrated to Sweden from the Netherlands in April 2025. I (Hanneke) am a graphic designer by profession. My passion for working with shape and color is also reflected in mosaics. What started sometime in 2012 as a hobby alongside regular work has now grown into a real business. I like to share my passion for mosaics with others. Partly through the workshops I give, but also by offering mosaic packages that we put together with great care and love. Together with my partner Stefan, we run the webshop with great enthusiasm. We are happy to advise and think along with you when you come to shop online or offline.
